Vintage Scottish Grouse Claw Brooch Up for auctioan is a very nice small brooch in the shape of a Grouse claw. The brooch is made from white metal (no silver stamp/mark visible). The brooch has a nicely facetted and mounted clear stone at its end. The brooch measures 4.6 cm long by 2.3 cm at its widest point. The detail of the Grouse claws and feathers are amazing and it would make a very nice addition to a jacket or scarf. Alternatively this would also make a very handsome kilt pin for a child. I bought this little gem to resell, but I’m becoming more and more fond of it and I fear it might end up in my jewelry box…
